The Petzl Roller Coaster Edge Roller is a reversible rope protector designed to reduce abrasion on moving ropes during technical rescue and rope access operations. Its modular design allows multiple rollers to be linked together using carabiners or cord, enabling rapid adaptation to varied terrain and edge profiles.

The reversible geometry provides two working faces: a flat face for flat areas or soft ground, and an angled face for square edges, guardrails, or sharp transitions. Rollers mounted on sealed ball bearings ensure smooth rope travel, reducing friction and wear under load.
